Thingy # 19

Just thought I would try to finish off the Learning 2.0 program. Yes I know it has been over for a year but I have been a bit distracted with one thing or another.
Anyways i took a look at the web 2.0 tools with a view to something with library applications.
As always with this program, i have lost hours of my life just viewing and playing with a few of the tools i found.
It's a good thing this is learning through play because i sure have been playing.
i really like http://www.myheritage.com/
It provides a fabulous range of online genealogy resources, is very user friendly and comes up with the information in a timely fashion.
Definately somewhere my family history seeking customers could find value.

House # 18

What can I write about? I guess I could talk about my new house. A word to the wise- do not ever build a new house. There are nothing but hassles from start to finishyell. Not that we are anywhere near finished but we will be one day.

Guess what, I added this post using Zoho writer.Still learning new tricks.

Technorati #14

Well I have claimed this blog as my very own. Hands off everyone else.

Technorati has some great sites tagged . It gets a bit distracting browsing through so many items of interest. Should be leaving a trail of breadcrumbs so I can find my way home again.

Still working on the bits of HTML, seems like black magic. I guess I don't need to understand how it works just how to use it.

Thingy # 13 del.icio.us

What a great way to keep all the interesting bits neat and tidy. I think it would be fantastic for keeping up when travelling. The fact that I will be able to access my bookmarks from work will make life easier. The security software which stops items from being retained after switching off has proved frustating in the past and now I can overcome the dilemma of my lack of memory ( personal not pc)

Roll your own #12

Well this is one I really liked.Nothing is more annoying that trolling through bucketloads of irrelevant sites to find what you are really looking for. Now all I need is the time to find the rest of my dream sites and roll them into my own neat package.
